In this study, numerical study are performed to investigate boiling and condensation in cryogenic condensor by using the volume offluid (VOF) method for air separation.This works also focus on the estimate the vapor generation rate during condens of oxygenbased on the mechanism of boiling heat transfer and the unique physicalproperties.The computational domain created by utilizing the fully structure dmeshes,which had very high quality from the viewpoint of aspectration and skewness.Themesh-independent tests were conducted based upon the average Oxygen mass flow in the ends of the pipe.some important bubble model parameters were modified to be applicable to the modeling of liquid nitrogen. In this study, different aspects of CFD modeling such as vapor-liquid interface morphology and the effect of Nitrogen height are presented. Some modified closure correlations of the bubble departure diameter, bubble departure frequency and density of the active nucleation sites were incorporated into the CFX code.The obtained results showsthat therate of liquid Oxygen mass flow in opening is 4.93499e-014 [kg/s].
