due to harsh environment of the coastal area of the persian gulf strict limits on maximum permissible water to cementitious materials ratio are imposed by various codes and further more the use of suitable pozzolanic materials as partial replacement of cement is also compulsory in this research the effet of amounts of cementitious materials on durability of concrete was investigated. the tests used for appraisal of chloride resistance included the rapid chloride penetration test RCPT the rapid chloride migration test RCMT and electrical resistivity test also the compressive strength test results are presented.
