Air pollution is a major problem in the world and SO2, NOx, CO, TH and PM are the main air pollutants. Various rules have been made for air pollution control from previous decades, but no researches were extended about selecting control methods for oil refinery stacks network with considering cost and efficiency simultaneously. The goal of this project is to determine suitable control equipments for oil refinery stacks network with two objective function of cost and minimum acceptable pollutants concentration according to environmental standards on the ground and assigning only one controller for each stack. Multiple-cell model is used for modeling and genetic algorithm is used as optimizing method. So Tabriz oil refinery stacks network by cosidering máximum exit emmissions of each stack was optimized and the results show that pollutants concentration except total hydrocarbons has reached to their standard value and total capital cost is 27.63 million dollars but because Tabriz oil refinery has thermal incinerator so this cost decreases to 3.632 million dollars.
