Bis-2PhIndZrCl2 was synthesized by indirect method simply and quantitatively. The performance of the catalyst in
ethylene polymerization was investigated using different polymerization conditions. The activity of the catalyst went up
as the Al:Zr molar ratio increased to 2333:1 following to reduction by using higher Al/Zr ratio. The maximum activity
of the catalyst was obtained at polymerization temperature of 60 oC. The viscosity average molecular weight (Mv) of
the polymer decreased as the polymerization temperature increased; on the other hand the reaction pressure increased
the Mv of the polymer and the catalyst activity, as well.
