One method of dehydration in gas refineries is in the use of the cycle propane as a fluid fridge temperature decrease in
gas to regulate the hydrocarbon dew point of refinery output gas. Injection of glycol usually is used for operation stable
and in order to prevent the formation of hydrate in heat exchanger and chiller. Major parameters in dehydration cycle
are regulation of gas output temperature of chiller, density of injecting glycol, the amount of injecting glycol. In
Sarkhon & Qeshm gas treating company, the amount of gas dew point was increased because of hydrate formation in
heat exchangers and this causes loss of the amount NGL and glycol. With unit simulation by Hysys simulator was
characterized hydrate formation points in dehydration cycle and then increase the amount and density of glycol,
hydrates is not formed in this points, and finally in same conditions, the amount of gas hydrocarbon dew point is
improved 3 centigrade degree toward when improvement was not done. In addition that was prevented the loss of 700
kg NGL for every one million cubic meters gas standards and to participate potential annual income of 484.8 milliondollars.
