In this paper, polyester coating as the matrix was combined with clay nanoparticle and nanocomposite coatings were applied on the surface of plain carbon steel components by electrostatic device. The effect of adding nanoparticles on the corrosion resistance properties of the coating was investigated by corrosion tests devices. Coating structure and morphology of nanoparticles were investigated by Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Transmission electron microscope (TEM). The results of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and immersion test show that the corrosion resistance of the coating is increased significantly by adding nanoclay because of barrier properties of nanoparticles. .
