Budesonide is an inhaled corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties but, at the same time, it has systemic adverse effects. In this study, nanoliposomes containing Budesonide were synthesized then their physicochemical properties were evaluated. The aim of this investigation is to design the inhalation nano-system in order to minimize systemic side effects, obtain more effective and prolonged drug release in the lung area, and prevent the involvement of other organs of the body. According to the results of the Zeta sizer device nanoparticles have an average size of 115 nm and based on the results of atomic force microscopy nanoparticles have uniform dispersion with a spherical morphology also based on drug release studies this formulation is able to sustain the drug release for more than 24 hours.
