امروزه نظام آموزشي كشور به مدرسه اي نياز دارد كه با بهره گيري از فناوري اطلاعات و ارتباطات ، امكان يادگيري پيوسته را فراهم نموده و فرصت هاي نويني را در اختيار افراد براي تجربه زندگي در جامعه اطلاعاتي قرار دهد ، به گونه اي كه اين فناوري نه به عنوان ابزار بلكه در قالب زير ساخت توانمند ساز براي تعليم و آموزش حرفه اي محسوب شود. با گسترش فناوري اطلاعات و نفوذ وسايل ارتباطات از راه دور در جامعه، ابزار و روش هاي آموزش نيز دچار تحول شده اند. تحول اين ابزار ها و روش ها در جهتي است كه هر فرد، در هر مكان و بازه زماني كه خود تعيين مي كند مشغول يادگيري شود. در سال هاي اخير فناوري هاي اطلاعاتي و ارتباطاتي رويكرد هاي يادگيري را دچار تغيير و تحول اساسي كرده است. با استفاده از شبكه هاي اجتماعي ، يادگيرنده فعالانه در توليد محتوا مشاركت دارد. همچنين بهره گيري از فناوري هاي شبكه هاي مجازي موجب ايجاد محيط يادگيري غير رسمي تر ، مشاركتي تر و تعاملي تر مي شود و فاصله و موانع ارتباطي بين معلم را كمتر مي كند. هدف اين مقاله ، مرور مقالاتي است كه به نقش و تاثير فناوري اطلاعات در آموزش اشاره كرده اند.
