The principles of sustainable urban design in the hot and dry climate of Iran

شهر و اقليم دو سيستم انسان ساخت و طبيعي هستند كه تأثير گذاري تنگاتنگي بر يك ديگر دارند. اقليم، تا آنجا كه با آسايش انسان رابطه برقرار مي‏كند، نتيجه عواملي چون: تابش آفتاب، دما و رطوبت هوا، وزش باد و ميزان بارندگي است. اقليم هر مكان جغرافيايي، شرايط مناسب ويژه‏اي دارد كه در عين حال، محدوديت‏هايي را نيز در زمينه طراحي شهري به همراه دارد. در طراحي فضاهاي مختلف شهر: نظير ساختمان‏ها، فضاهاي سبز، معابر و غيره، علاوه بر توجه به كيفيت‏هاي عملكردي، بصري و زيبا شناختي، عنايت به نوع اقليم شهر و رعايت ضوابط طراحي اقليمي ضروري است؛ و بي‏توجهي به اين مسأله، مشكلات خاصي را به‏وجود مي‏آورد. منظر سازي در هر مكاني كه انجام مي‏گيرد بايد با شرايط اقليمي و جغرافيايي آن نقطه سازگاري داشته باشد. همچنين سازگاري با كاربري‏هاي مجاور نيز موجبات افزايش كيفيت‏هاي ديداري مي‏گردد. گياهان در معماري به‏عنوان ابزار طراحي و فضاسازي مي‏توانند مورد استفاده قرار گيرند. با توجه به شكل و حجم انفرادي و انبوه هر گونه و تركيب حجم‏ها و شكل‏هاي گونه‏ها گياه مي‏تواند به‏عنوان يك فرم معماري مؤثر فضا را بسازد. در اين ميان گياهان بومي در طراحي، نقش مهمي در منظر پايدار شهري دارند. در اين مقاله به‏صورت مروري و با استناد به منابع كتابخانه‏اي سعي شده است تا با اصول طراحي پايدار شهري در اقليم گرم و خشك ايران بيشتر آشنا شويم.

City and climate are two man-made and natural systems that closely influence each other. Climate, as far as it relates to human comfort, is the result of factors such as: sunlight, air temperature and humidity, wind and rainfall. The climate of each geographical location has special suitable conditions, which at the same time also bring limitations in the field of urban design. In the design of different spaces of the city: such as buildings, green spaces, roads, etc., in addition to paying attention to functional, visual and aesthetic qualities, it is necessary to pay attention to the type of climate of the city and comply with the climatic design criteria; And ignoring this issue creates certain problems. Landscaping in any place should be compatible with the climatic and geographical conditions of that place. Also, compatibility with nearby uses also increases visual qualities. Plants can be used in architecture as a design and space creation tool. According to the shape and volume of individual and mass of each species and the combination of the volumes and shapes of the species, the plant can create the space as an effective architectural form. Meanwhile, native plants play an important role in sustainable urban landscape in design. In this article, we have tried to get to know more about the principles of sustainable urban design in the hot and dry climate of Iran.
