حمايت ازحقوق ايتام و محورهاي توسعه و ترويج مديريت در قبال حقوق ايتام موضوعي است كه كمتر بدان پرداخته شده است. در اين مقاله محقق درپي پاسخگويي به اين سوال است كه چه محورهايي از جانب حاكميت و مديريت اسلامي براي ترويج حمايت از حقوق ايتام در آيات قرآن و روايات معصومين (ع) وجود دارد. براي پاسخگويي به اين سوال، آياتي از قرآن كريم كه به حقوق ايتام پرداخته است و همچنين روايات معصومين(ع) در اين زمينه مورد تحليل و بررسي قرار گرفته است. علاوه براين ديدگاه هاي مفسران و ساير علماء نيز كنكاش شده است. راهكارهايي كه از مجموع بررسي هاي انجام شده به دست آمده مي توان به اين موارد زير اشاره كرد: توجه به نيازهاي اساسي ايتام از جمله اطعام و ازدواج و مسكن و اشتغال آن ها و با توجه به اهميت بيت المال در برطرف كردن نياز مادي ايتام توجه به اين مسئله ازجمله جلوگيري از سوء استفاده از بيت المال و جمع آوري بيت المال و حفظ بيت المال و...
