Artificial intelligence has rapidly affected various fields, especially visual fields, and this trend continues (with current and future opportunities, threats, and challenges). From this point of view, this research seeks to investigate the effects of generative artificial intelligence on future visual connections and answer the eight main related questions using library method and in-depth interviews. In the library study, 30 articles underwent qualitative content analysis. The available sampling method was utilized, focusing on predicting the future of visual fields influenced by artificial intelligence (published between 2020 and 2024). This was achieved by extracting components and categorizing the proposed points. In the in-depth interview method, the statistical population was chosen from visual field activists familiar with artificial intelligence. Questions were sent to 137 people by the available sampling method via email (with four follow-up emails). Finally, 8 people (7 men and 1 woman from 5 countries, USA, Holland, Mexico, Spain, and France, from media such as the New York Times, Reuters, etc.) answered the questions. In this approach, components were extracted and answers were categorized. The results indicate an increase in the cooperation and interaction of visual field activists with artificial intelligence and a change in the role of designers from creators to leaders and supervisors (the possibility of eliminating low-level jobs and non-creative and repetitive tasks). Also, artificial intelligence has been influential in different fields, such as visual journalism and data journalism, but the extent of its influence in various fields relates to factors partly depending on the specialization degree of that field and its level of dependence on the role of the human agent; And that the evolution of visual fields in the future of human interaction is and will be effective in moving towards remote communication. Artificial intelligence has significantly impacted technical aspects, influencing trends and processes. However, the development of creative works that incorporate emotions is a key future expectation in this field. Simplifying, facilitating, speeding up, and automating affairs, activities, and processes in producing visual works, creating new opportunities for ideas, etc., are among the effects of AI.In this context, the importance of upgrading skills and staying current by understanding the field and keeping pace with advancements, as well as the capability to interact with and oversee artificial intelligence, address ethical and human concerns, and establish the required regulations and principles to tackle relevant challenges, has been highlighted. The discussion on artificial intelligence art, free from disputes regarding creativity and cyborg art, has been revitalized because of recent advancements, such as brain penetration aided by chips. The cooperation of artificial intelligence, the convergence of platforms, different ways of displaying virtual, augmented, mixed, or developed realities, holography, 3D printing, etc., can change and improve the fate of visual works. Minimizing the gap between imagination in the mind, and objectification in reality or virtuality, mental editing before visual and objective editing, etc. may create a different picture of the visual future.
