Matrix acidizing operation is the simplest and main method of stimulating the well, by which the permeability of the damaged opening of the well is improved. When acid is injected into the well, it preferentially penetrates areas of higher permeability or undamaged areas due to lower resistance. Acid injection, self-diverting VDA, for uniform stimulation is an effective method to divert acid to low permeability areas. In this article, using Stim -Pro (2019) software, we have compared the time with and without the use of self-diverting acid on increasing the efficiency of acidizing. In addition, the comparison of parameters such as invasion depth, skin factor and changes in the bottomhole pressure in time with and without the use of self-diverting acid has also been done.
