In order to further improve the service life, mechanical properties of Polyethylene Foams prepared through Extrusion Foaming Procedure were studied. Mechanical properties can be used for quality control purposes. It may also be employed to obtain reference values from which design values can be calculated using safety factors. Experimental Study of mechanical properties allowed us to predict the performance as well as determining acceptable characteristics of produced foams. The mechanical properties of flexible cellular materials are overall associated with their density. In this study, mechanical properties of polyethylene foams are investigated by Compressive stress, Compression set, Tensile strength and elongation at break in the same density.
