photovoltaic systems, it is inevitable to use bidirectional converters for charging and discharging batteries. Since in hard switching bidirectional converters, at least two main switches are required to transfer power in two directions, but due to switching losses, the efficiency and power density of these converters are low. Many techniques have been suggested to provide soft switching conditions in these converters, but adding a switch to provide soft switching conditions in two directions complicates the operation and control of the converter and increases the cost greatly.
