APPLICATION OF ADAMS-MOULTON METHODS IN SOLVING EQUATIONS SUBJECT TO CIRCULAR CYLINDRICAL DEFORMED AND COMPARISON WITH RESULTS COMPOUND MATRIX METHOD

In this paper, we consider a specific eigenvalue problem as a sixth order system of equations and solve it numerically for a specific material model by using the Adams-moulton and Compound Matrix methods. We consider the variation of the length ratio of the cylinder to the (external) radius of a thick-walled circular cylindrical elastic tubes under axial loading and external pressure. We solve the governing equations by using Adams- Moulton method. Finally, we plot the axisymmetric bifurcation curves for some length and compare those with the results of the Compound Matrix method
