WO3 was synthesized through solution combustion method. Citric acid and propanol which were used as combustion fuel, effected on flame temperature. Propanol made the higher temperature and orthorhombic crystalline phase was resulted, but citric acid made amorphous phase of WO3 powder. The prepared samples characterized by X-Ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Photocatalytic activity of synthesized powders was evaluated by degradation of reactive blue 194 in aqueous. The results were showed that orthorhombic phase has the better activity toward degradation of diazo dyes. – –
