Condition Monitoring of Tailing Pumping System Based on Performance Characteristics

The goal of this paper is monitoring the condition of a tailing pumping system with use of performance characteristics of pumps. These parameters will be used to illustrate the case study system‟s efficiency in an interval of approximate of 8 month. During this interval each performance characteristics of pumps is measured separately and periodically every 5 minutes. Later the efficiency calculated from these parameters will be used to develop an indicator for fault detection of system and analyzing its characteristics. Using this indicator, would result in fault diagnosis of system.
