Genetic Algorithm application for cavity detection in apower plant

We aim to use an intelligent way of gravity signal interpretation via Genetic Algorithm method. In this way we selected a cluster of chromosomes and some non-equation functions which describes the inversion parameters domain, attend to geological first information, a first estimation as a first array of chromosomes was applied and then we modified the genes by cross-over and mutation steps. To test the algorithm we used a set of real gravity signal of some subsurface cavities and compared the results by the real values, it presented a good adoption to real variables.
