Abstract
Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı is an author and poet among our Republican era. He has known especially as a poet. Although there are many stories of the author a significant proportion of the work on Cahit Sıtkı is taken into account only his poems; even his name isn’t included in some anthology of stories. Critics are called “the poems initiative” for his stories has been overshadowed by his poetry. We worked on some poems and stories of Cahit Sıtkı. We examine a review on his stories and poems, taking into account, stylistic, images and thematic concerns.
