Abstract
Dialects are a language’s vital sources of wealth. The Turkish of Turkey has a special place with its wealth dialects. Today, the studies about the Turkish of Turkey’s dialects have increased enough to compile a bibliography book. These studies are surely vital to comprehend the source and features of our language better, then to determine rapidly emerging dialects’ features using improving technology for transferring them to the next generations. With the idea of contributing to the studies, we wanted to briefly evaluate Köyceğiz dialect by using a short text we created from a tape we have. Although the text part is short, we believe the person edited, significantly represented the characteristic features of the dialect. The text and research parts have the potential of corroborating our argument.
