SOME SIGNIFICANT PERSONALITIES OF DİYARBAKIR BY THEIR EXTRAORDINARY ASPECTS
Abstract :
Due to its historical position and moral advantages, Diyarbakır became the locality of lots of writers and poets. This cultural and art city that significant personalities just like Ali Emiri Efendi, Süleyman Nazif, Ziya Gökalp, Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı and Esma Ocak compose only a small part of the locality, attract attention by extraordinary aspects in these personalities especially. Book passion of Alî Emîrî Efendi, courage of Süleyman Nazif while writing, persist of Ziya Gökalp in writing despite of his exile and a lot of difficulty, devoting of Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı his educational life that he could have with difficulty to literature and art, constructing the stories by living or giving evidence of Esma Ocak consist only a small part of these mentioned extraordinary aspects. In our this study, it will be enlightened these ways of these people with reference to their life and works.
