Sait Pasa from Diyarbakır offer cadre of classical rhetoric in his work called Mîzânü’l-Edeb. And also he advises to people who want to write. And he tells his thoughts about poetry. These introductions are important for rhetoric books. Furthermore these thoughts comprise critics of classical poem mostly. Reason of the critics of the writer is that classical period poets imitated Persian poetry extremely and could not constitute a poetry language for Turkish. This provision is quite important. After declaring these Sait Paşa stated that classical period poets have erudite poems and it is possible to see the humanistic information and maturity of them in these also. So, it comes to light that his critics do not include all of the classical poems. Thus he does an anthology including the poems that are among he stated last. And so Sait Paşa prepares the people practically who want to learn rhetoric.
