    School Principals’ Levels of Establishing Balance While Performing Their Tasks

  • Abstract
    The purpose of this research is to reveal the school principals’ level of establishing balance in while they perform their tasks. The research is based on survey model and it is a descriptive study. Research sample includes all school principals working in Amasya, Turhal district of Tokat, and Kozan and Imamoglu districts of Adana in the 2010-2011 academic year. A measurement tool developed by the researcher was used for data collection purposes. Arithmetic mean, and standard deviation were used for data analysis and interpretation. School principals’ levels of establishing balance with respect to the independent variables were analyzed by the results of the t-test, Mann Whitney U Test, and Kruskal Wallis Test. When work locations of school principals are considered, it is observed that level of establishing balance is significant for school principals working in city/district centers and for those working in villages/towns. School principals’ levels of establishing balance can be analyzed regionally.
