Abstract :
Tourism has an important effect on the economy of regions and countries with its various branches. One of the branches of tourism that has important place in international tourism is health tourism. Health tourism has branches such as thermalism, climatism, uvalism etc. and it can vary from region to region. Alangüllü is one of the thermalism destinations in Aegean Region. The thermal spring with its historical buildings and mineralogical substance has been benefited from past to today. It has seen that it can be benefited in the treatment of many illnesses from minerological analyses of the water. In addition to this, the physiotherapy unit of Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine apply some of the treatments here. This makes the thermal springs an important health centre, in the beyond of a simple thermal facility. In the reports based on the etudes done by MTA and previous studies related to the region, analysed and the condition tried to be revealed with the interviews and observation.
