Abstract :
Determination of perception of risk resources and risk management strategies in the businesses of earthen ponds performed see fish farming is quite important. Marine fish farming in the earthen ponds shows an important development in the last years, and it also has critical responsible on socio-economic development of the region. The survey study is carried out with 46 managers of the businesses selected by a precise sampling. It is basically benefited from 5 point Likert Scale during preparing the survey questions. The issues identified below are focused in the study. These are: (1) Socio-economic characteristics of the ponds and their managers, (2) Risk perception intended for different risk resources of the managers, (3) Risk management strategies for these risk resources. The basic descriptive statistical methods such as mean and percentage rates are used in the study. As a result, it is defined that the managers have variable perceptions of the risk resources and also different risk management strategies should be developed to produce some solutions to these perceptions in the earthen ponds carried out see fish farming located in the research area.
