Abstract :
Myasthenia Gravis is an autoimmune disease affecting neuromusculer transmission. Auto antibodies against the acetylcholine receptor reduce the total amount of acetylcholine receptors resulting in an unpredictible response to administered neuromusculer blocking drugs. In this case report, we present a successful anesthesia method which obviated postoperative mechanical ventilation by using sugammadex in a 49 year old patient with MG who underwent a laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anesthesia with rocuronium.
