Abstract
Shale gas could be accepted the most strategic unconventional gas sources. Shale gas will be the most important game changer in the international energy markets and energy policy area. Today economic life of global natural reserves are defined 250 years with shale gas reserves before shale gas revolution this value is only 60 years. Shale gas production is increasing especially in Canada and USA. Also in today shale gas can be converted to LNG. In near future Canada and USA could be strong natural gas exporter in the energy world. According these new conditions, Russian position could be changed in the EU energy market. The aim of this study is that explanation of shale gas effects on EU, USA, China and Russia energy policies.
