Abstract :
The aim of study was to determine the teacher opinions regarding community service practices implemented in three secondary schools in Eskişehir. Qualitative research design was used in the study and data were obtained using interviews.Research participants were 21 branch teachers who served in three secondary schools participated in the activities carried out under the project. As a result, teachers think that community service practices are useful for students and make it easy for them to act commonly, and this kind of practices increase awareness of students. Moreover, teachers have offered some suggestions like performing the activities in different places by using various materials and enabling parent participation for activities performed within the scope of research.
