Abstract
The purpose of this study, to examine the impact of blended learning on effectiveness, studentsuccess, motivation, and retention. In the study blended learning (web-based learning andface-to-face learning) and face-to-face learning approach were used. Blended learningapproach is to blend web-based teaching technology through education purpose. In thisexperimental research, the experimental group 24, control group of 22 students participated.In the process of experimental tests, achievement test (pretest-posttest) and the motivationscale was given to students. At the end of research it was found that the students used blendedlearning approach was as successful and motivated as the students who learn face-to-face. Atretention test, the blended learning students got a higher score. It is recommended thatdifferent blended learning environments can be designed.
