Abstract
This study focuses on analyzing the visual images of music student’s books, published by the Ministry of National Education in Turkey and used by primary students in music classes. The analysis of the visual images in the music student’s books will be framed by these issues: The general design of the music student’s books; the types of visual images; their size and color qualities; the relations of the visual images with the content of music lessons; the connections of visual images in study activities of the music student’s books; the cultural aspects of these visual images. In this aspect the research design of the study is document analysis and the collected data will be analyzed both by qualitative and quantitative methods.
