Abstract :
In this study, the bones forming the vertebral column in Aksaray Malaklı Dogs were macroanatomically investigated. For this purpose, 5 dogs were used. It was determined the numbers of the vertebrae were C7, T13, L7, S3 and C20-22 in Aksaray Malaklı Dogs. Ala atlantis parts were in horizontal position. The spinal process of axis was ended in the “V” shape at the caudal. While the spinal process was in the sharp crest state on the third cervical vertebrae, the height of the spinal proceses extending to the cranial and forming a prominent protrusion towards the fourth and fifth cervical vertebra was increased. The processus costalis of the sixth cervical vertebrae was extending to the ventral. Anticlinal vertebra was stated as tenth thoracal vertebra. In Aksaray Malaklı dogs, 7 lumbal vertebrae were present. Sacrum was formed by combination of 3 sacral vertebrae and the spinal processes were combined.
