Title Of Article :
The Effects Supplemental Dietary Vetch (Vicia sativa) on Ruminal Activity, Hematologic and Metabolic Profile in Calves
Abstract :
This study will be conducted at an early age eating coarse rations of calves by adding 20% vetch, and it will be investigate the effects of vetch feeding on the ruminal activity, hematological parameters and metabolic profile. Period of 1-3 months under field conditions, 30 calves the hands of growers will be studying, but by us will be kept under constant surveillance. At the same age and growing under some conditions, 15 healthy calves will be no added of the vetch ration will be used as a control group. All of the animals, clinical parameters such as body temperature, breathing and heart frequencies along with rumen fluid analysis methylene blue test, hypoactivity status, such as total counts infusoria) with hematological and blood biochemical parameters will be measured and made comparisons of the values obtained in the two groups. When the datas obtained from this study were analyzed, vetch feeding of calves in early life was an important source of nutrients, high dietary addition of calf health and to contribute to a positive direction in terms of efficiency, but according to the hematologic findings and metabolic profile, it was concluded that calves would be more beneficial in terms of efficiency and health when high rate of vetch additions to their ration after the 55th day.
