Abstract :
The purpose of the study was to determine whether the fathers can acquire the behavioral processes after the implementation of group parent training program to control inappropriate behavior. The design of the study was AB design which is one of the single subject experimental designs. The subjects of this study are four people who are the fathers of mentally handicapped children. A graphical analysis was used in evaluating the obtained data. In this research to collect data, criterion referenced test related to the concepts, criterion referenced test related to the behavioral processes, and implementation reliability form and social validity form were used. At the end of the study, the subjects acquired all the concepts and behavioral processes covered in the study. When parent training programme is evaluated in terms of social validity to intervention, it has been determined that this program has very high rates of implementation reliability and social validity.
