Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to determine whether power sources used by the lectures are predictors of intrinsic motivation and organizational identification of prospective teachers. Data was collected with the help of a survey conducted on 720 prospective teachers, studying at Gazi University. In this research, the data was collected by using a “Lectures Power Use Scale, a” Intrinsic Motivation” and a “Organizational Identification Scale”. In the analyses of the data, mean, standard deviation, Pearson Moments Product Correlation Coefficient and Regression Analysis were used. The results indicated a significant positive relation between some dimensions of power sources and intrinsic motivation and organizational identification, in addition between intrinsic motivation and organizational identification. Results also indicate that intrinsic motivation has a mediator role in power sources effects on organizational identification.
