Abstract
One of Sa dî s two most famous works, Gülistān, has been translated into many languages since its writing. However, it is seen that this work is read with great interest especially in Turkish literature. Kitābu Gülistan bi t-Türkî, which is considered as one of the most important texts of Mameluk Kipchak Turkish, is a work that comes to the forefront in terms of idioms and proverbs if it carries the characteristics of phonetics and morphology of the own period. Gülistān, written as a prose, consists of parts of words, poems and poems. In this article, the idioms used in the work were classified according to subjects and handled under thirty-three headings.
