Abstract
There are several similarities between Nizam-i Jadid era poet Sheikh Galib and Republican era poet Asaf Halet Çelebi. The reason for this similarity is that Asaf Halet took Galib as a role model for himself. This model wasn’t only on imitation level but also he could create an original poetry which is characteristic of his. In this article, this situation will be examined.
