Abstract :
This study was conducted in order to determine on adaptation capabilities and grain yields and yield components of different triticale cultivars (Tacettinbey, Ege yıldızı, BDMT 06-5K, Karma, Tatlıcak-97, Mikham-2002, Focus, Melez-2001, Presto) grown under Menemen-Izmir ecological conditions between 2009-2011. Results indicated that significant differences in terms of plant height (87.7-119.2 cm), grain yield (157-539 kg/da), thousand seed weight (33.8-49.3 g) and hectolitre weight (59.5-76.7 kg) were determined between cultivars. It was also determined that triticale cv. Tacettinbey, BDMT 06-5K and Karma had better grain yield than the other cultivars in the location.
