Effects of Different Milk and Milk Replacers on Growth Performance in Artificial Rearing Saanen Kids

This study, it was carried out to determine on kid performance of artificial rearing by using goat milk, cow milk and lamb, calf and kid milk replacear. It was used to be experimental animal total 60 head kids. The kids were weaned 60 days and determined weaning weight individually. Body weights for kids on goat milk, cow milk and lamb, calf and kid milk replacear groups at 60 days were 14.12, 13.80, 13.72, 12.73 and 13.41 kg, respectively. There was no difference between groups (P 0.05). Average daily gain for kids was found 195.39, 170.35, 169.93, 154.26 and 166.53 g, respectively. There was no difference between groups on daily gain (P 0.05). There was no differences between feeding groups. All of milk and milk replacer can be used for kid rearing. But, it should be chosen according to the economic cost for milk replacers. It must be considered parameters such as easy supplying, economic or profitability and animal health.
