MEDICAL TERMS IN KARAKALPAK TURKISH

Medical terms are special words that provides the scientiest dealing with medical sciences to easily communicate with each other. In this study, the medical terms in Karakalpak Turkish which is a Kipchak group text dialect are tried to be determined and in this manner it is aimed to contribute to the researchs on medical language and modern Turkish dialects. It is seen that 158 of 398 medical terms that are identified in Karakalpak Turkish are Turkish words and also 60 of these 158 medical terms in Turkish have equivalent counterparts in standard Turkey Turkish and dialects.
