Title Of Article :
SCIENTIFIC CONSTRUCTION OF HYPOTETICAL-DEDUCTIVE FORM IN KARL POPPER’S METHOD
Abstract :
This study discusses, together with its origins, how knowledge has acquired the qualification of correctness and how correctness has become a dogma in scientific knowledge. In this sense, while presenting Karl Popper’s view of scientific falsification, we follow two major paths. The first one is what Popper contradicts and why he does that and the second one is how the gap created as a result of this contradiction is filled in. Therefore, while the first part is mainly a criticism of traditional view of knowledge in Popper’s view, the second part is primarily based on Popper’s own scientific view. Although Popper breathes new life into scientific knowledge with his innovations, the shortcomings of his system are discussed in the final part. These are why it would be impossible to make a falsification logically according to Ayer and Duhem- Quine’s thesis and therefore why a holistic approach would be needed to falsify a theory.
