Abstract :
Multi criteria decision making methods, by optimizing the multiple criteria allowing the decision maker to choose the best alternative, is a methodological tool. Analytic Network Process (ANP) is one of the most widely used multi criteria decision making methods. ANP is an approach that allows the complex dependency relationships between criteria and alternatives and includes feedback results. In the study, ANP application, allows doing early warning analysis, is discussed on substance abuse, which is particularly widespread among today s teenagers, threatens human health and public welfare. In this context, it is aimed to identify the prevalence of drug use among young people, the factors that affect the areas of substance abuse and the risk areas. A survey that was prepared on Substance Abuse among Young People is applied to 2500 students who are currently studying in Keçiören district and obtained survey results are modeled using the method. Then schools with a high density of young people, who carry the risk of substance abuse and should be given support, is aimed to identify.
