  • Abstract
This study aims to exhibit fundamental differences in terms of moral norms through evaluating criteria of Jewish, Christian and Islamic traditions that determine work ethics. In the study, the impact of historically important three religious tradition on ethics of business life is examined with reference to the assumption that cultural values have a decisive role in business life. In this direction, literature on the basis of main scriptures and secondary sources is reviewed and events in these sources are analyzed within the context of the idea that those events symbolically produce/show moral values and then moral structures constituted by important religious foundations are studied in a comparative way.
