Abstract :
In this study, oxygen, pH, temperature, electrical conductivity, salinity, secchi disc visibility and chlorophyll-a features were investigated and phytoplankton species were determined by monthly samples between November 2012 and October 2013 from 4 stations which were selected in Eğirdir Lake (Hoyran Region). In Eğirdir Lake (Hoyran Region) 104 taxa from phytoplankton were found which are Bacillariophyta, Chlorophyta, Charophyta, Cyanobacteria, Dinophyta, Euglenozoa and Ochrophyta; 43, 20, 18, 13, 5, 3 and 2 respectively. According to distribution of phytoplankton divisio Bacillariophyta (41 %) Chlorophyta (19 %), Charophyta (17 %), Cyanobacteria (13%), Dinophyta (5 %), Euglenozoa (3 %) ve Ochrophyta (2 %) have been calculated. Bacillariophyta taxon’s and phytoplankton species number have been found wealthier than others. Consequently, according to phytoplankton species, chlorophyll-a and secchi disc visibility results Eğirdir Lake (Hoyran Region) has been determined as an oligotrophic lake.
