Quantum Hall Conductivity on Cone Surface Made of Semi-Magnetic Semiconductor

Abstract
In this work we obtain the Landau levels and the Hall conductivity at zero temperature of a two dimensional electron gas on a conical surface. Differences of quantum Hall conductivity by magnetic surface is ladder characteristic and step length change according to magnetic field strength. This step height is e^2/h. In this work we obtain the quantum Hall conductivity with two different approaches because of specific condition on the top of cone. First approach takes a real cone and effective scalar potential is calculated proportionally to the Gaussian curvature of the surface. The other approach takes a mathematical cone and effective potential is calculated proportionally to both the Gaussian curvature and singular curvature of the surface.
