Abstract
Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and mobile devices have the ability ofmanaging the health monitoring systems for medical care needing people. Theyprovide mountable sensors and wireless sensors to ensure easy health monitoring.In the paper, a remote patient monitoring system is proposed as an androidapplication together with wireless sensors for the patients. Our system has an easyto use structure. The data is collected by touching the finger of the patient. Thegained data is sent to the patient s smartphone that has an android operatingsystem. Then the data is transmitted to the hospital database and the patient’sdoctor via patient’s medical record. Eventually, the system provides an easymedical data collecting and storing environment for medical people and patients.
