Abstract :
The aim of this study, to determine the factors affecting the job satisfaction of public internal auditors and to determine whether these factors include some differences in terms of the some features of internal auditors or not. A questionnaire prepared for this purpose was applied to public internal auditors working in different public institutions. According to the results of the study, there have been five factors affecting the public internal auditors job satisfaction; “Institution and relations with superiors”, “environment of working and characteristic of job”, “fee”, “fatigue and stress”, “adequacy of opportunities and being concerned with employee”. It has been examined to learn whether there have been differences by means of public auditors participation in these factors found out in terms of sex, marital status, job experience and education level or not. Only in terms of gender and age groups there have been significant, statistical differences about public internal auditors participation to “fee” factor.
