Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of ethical leadership on ethical climate perception while the organizational politics perception is the mediator. For this aim, a survey study, which includes 547 participants from three public aviation logistics centre, is used. It is proposed that managers are role models in their organizations. Specifically, through ethical leadership behaviour, managers can influence organizational politics perceptions, which in turn will positively impact on ethical climate. The results indicate that ethical leadership has a both direct and indirect effect on ethical climate. The indirect effect of ethical leadership involves shaping perceptions of ethical climate, which in turn, engender greater affective organizational commitment and lesser turnover intention.
