مرکز منطقه ای اطلاع رساني علوم و فناوري - The Evaluation of the Ready-Mixed Concrete Qualities Produced in Afyonkarahisar

Abstract :

In construction industry, compulsory usage of ready-mixed concrete has highlighted the production of high quality ready-mixed concrete. In addition, construction control companies and laboratories which incorporated according to the 4708 “Building Inspection Law” which came into force from 2011 in all of country have raised the control sensibility on the production of concrete at building field. In parallel to these positive developments, ready-mixed concrete companies have started to work to get qualified production under quality assurance. The companies, which have quality assurance certificate, try to record productions for production control certificate continuously. The aim of this study is to investigate statistically the quality control variation of concretes that were produced different three ready-mixed concrete companies in Afyonkarahisar in 2009 and 2010. For this purpose, the test results of compressive strengths of concrete specimens that were brought to Afyon Kocatepe University Construction Laboratory from three different ready-mixed concrete companies have been evaluated. Considering the last two years’ data, quality improvement of produced concrete in the center of Afyonkarahisar has been increased and according to evaluation of the obtained results, it has shown that there has been the qualified concrete in reinforced concrete structures.
