شماره ركورد :

Abstract :
Deoxy sugars are commonly found in many biologically active natural products. They are the main constituents of glycosidic chain of various antibiotics and cardiac glycosides. The generally adapted strategy for the synthesis of these compounds consists of using the protection-deprotection methodology starting from various substrates such as glycals, epoxydes and tosylate derivatives, or from unprotected sugars. The most of these syntheses requires preparation at first of the corresponding thionocarbonates, these reactions in combination with radical reduction lead to deoxy sugars, providing useful intermediates for the synthesis of natural products from easily carbohydrates.
