Abstract
The aim of this study to determine the seasonal distribution of ectoparasites of carp fish (Cyprinus carpio L., 1758) in Terkos Lake from September 2009 to August 2010. During the study examined 132 fish carp, Dactylogyrus extensus and Gyrodactylus elegans from Monogenia, Diplostomum spathaceum metacerceria from Digenia and Piscicola geometra from Hirudinea were parasited. Dactylogyrus extensus (%74) in spring, Gyrodactylus elegans (%81), Diplastomum spathaceum metacerceria (%84) and Piscicola geometra (%39) showed the highest infection rate spread in summer. As a result of statistical analysis (chi-square test), on carp fish for all the parasites, parasites fish did not differ according to the seasons (p 0.05), seasonal differences in terms of the number of parasites have been identified (p 0.05).
